E-mail Automation Modes You can choose different modes of work when opening incidents from E-mails. - Automation Disabled – Polar Help Desk does not perform any E-mail automation, in other words the E-mail is not received at all. - All E-mails are being moved to waiting list – any E-mail received from POP3 server is sent to the waiting list. The staff must perform E-mail publishing manually from the waiting list. - Smart Mode: E-mails from Existing users are being registered as Incidents – if the email from which the email is sent is found in the database a new incident is opened, if it isn’t, the E-mail goes to the waiting list. - Smart Mode with User Registration: All E-mails are being registered as Incidents – Any E-mail received from POP3 server is opened as incident. Please note that using this mode you risk opening incidents from junk E-mail and spam because no authentication is performed.
