In Polar Help Desk, Services are products or services that you are selling to your clients and customers. It can be a product, product’s feature, some component, provided service etc.
Based on defined Services, customers (Contacts) are requesting support. Each Incident that is opened is a request for some Service.
For example, if you are selling various hardware such as Notebooks, Printers, and Desktop Computers, you could create a different Service for each of your offerings. It will help you improve performance and optimize support services.
For each Service you can create one or many Service Levels and Service Level Agreements.
