What is Role?
.

Role is set of permissions to create, view, edit and delete particular data in Polar Help Desk 5 application. It delegates application user's rights to perform specific tasks and parts of the interface they can view.

For example, permission to GET /incidents is permission to view list of incidents, permission to PUT /incident/3 is permission to edit incident with ID 3, etc. Each Contact is granted permissions according to Role his Account is in, and each User is granted permissions according to Role his Team is in.
